Do I need advance booking for 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training?
Yes, you need to book a seat to make sure your place is confirmed. To book your slot, a 20% fee is charged at the time of booking which is non-refundable.
Is 200 hours Yoga Teachers Training internationally recognised?
Yes, the 200 hours Yoga Teachers training course is registered with Yoga Alliance US.
Will I be able to teach Yoga outside India?
Yes, certified with Yoga Alliance US gives you an opportunity to teach Yoga in most of the countries in the world.
What is Yoga Alliance?
Yoga Alliance recognised the Yoga course and this is a registry for Yoga teachers and yoga school. You will be able to teach internationally if you have obtained certificate from any Yoga Alliance registered school
Will Masters in Yoga and PG Diploma in Yoga courses be recognised by other universities?
Yes, the degree certificate awarded at the end of the course will be issued by Uttarakhand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya which is UGC university.
For University courses, do I need to attend classes at Jhanvi Yoga or at Uttarakhand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya?
All the classes, both theory and practical will take place at Jhani Yoga campus. At the end of each semester, examination will be held at the University campus

What are the various retreats offered by Jhanvi Yoga?
Jhanvi Yoga Ashram offers:
  • 3 days Ayurveda and Yoga retreat. This is an introductory retreat. You can extend your stay to convert a 3 days retreat to 7 or 14 days. This is a fully residential program
  • 7 days and 14 days Ayurveda and Yoga retreat. This is a fully residential program
Do I need to book a place for the retreat?

Can anyone join Yoga and Ayurveda retreat?
Yes, all fitness levels are welcomed. Our experienced Yoga teachers and Ayurveda doctors prepare individual specific program so you get most out of your stay
Can I book a retreat and extend the days while I am there?
Yes can extend the days while you are at the ashram subject to the availability of cottages.
What kind of food is served in the retreat?
We provide 3 vegetarian meals, freshly cooked with most of the home grown produce. Simple yet delicious food is served. Tea and coffee are available all the time.
Can I consume alcohol or smoke during the retreat
Consumption of any intoxicated substance is strictly prohibited on campus. We have a zero tolerance policy for any alcohol, smoke or drug usage during the retreat or any of our residential courses.
What are the treatments available at Jhanvi Yoga Ashram?
Post Covid recovery treatments (residential) - for 7 days, 14 days and 21 days based on the assessment of our doctors Women’s Health - PCOS, PCOD, infertility and hormonal imbalance in young girls and post menopausal women
Are all the treatments residential?
No, only Post COVID recovery treatment is a fully residential program regardless of however many days you need to stay. All other Ayurveda treatments are by appointment.
Can I possibly have a lady doctor for the Ayurvedic treatment?
We have a team of experienced Ayurveda doctors that comprises both, men and women. Please call us to book and appointment and mention if you specifically want to talk to a lady doctor
Can I have only a phone appointment, if I do not wish to have it in-person?
We encourage you to have a face to face appointment with the doctor unless there is a specific reason for not having one. This will be on case by case basis and to be assessed by the doctor if they want to handle the case over oven
