Jhanvi Yoga has designed a fully residential Ayurveda and Yoga based Post COVID recovery retreat / treatment for those who unfortunately suffered from the deadly infection. Treatment Starts with Full body Ayurvedic Diagnosis (As-Is State)

After you have booked into our one, two or three weeks retreat, the resident doctor at Jhanvi Yoga will examine you and diagnose any underlying health issues you have. Doctor will get a blood test done before starting the treatment to set up your health baseline.The doctor is also likely to ask you about your lifestyle and diet, personal and professional life as well as any medical issues you could be suffering from. This will enable the doctor to get a full picture of your overall health, including your mental state. They will draw a conclusion about your doshas (as assessment performed in Ayurvedic treatment to identify body type - vata, pitta or kapha) , health of your tissues, digestive system, and state of immunity. After this a personalised plan will be drawn keeping in mind which doshas are in excess and which therapies and yoga asana are likely to benefit you. A second blood test will be done at the end of the retreat to assess the improvement in the condition.

Ayurvedic Therapies and Treatment Plan

Based on the recommendations of the doctor, your treatment will begin where your doshas will be balanced and immunity strengthened. Doctors will prepare Ayurvedic medicines (decoctions) according to your treatment plan, all the decoctions are plant based made with ancient knowledge of herbs, roots, bark, leaves etc. You may undergo certain oil or mud massages. The type of oils used will be in keeping with the type of treatment you require according to the diagnosis.
