100 Hours Yoga Teacher Training Certification in Rishikesh, India
On completing the 100 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course you will receive a certificate of completion of 100 hour yoga from Rishikesh Yogpeeth. To become eligible for the certification that will qualify you as a Yoga Alliance registered teacher, you will have to complete another 100 hours training. The 100 hours YTTC is one part of the 200 hour YTTC for which you need to complete another 100 hours before you can become eligible to teach yoga professionally.
A minimum RYT-200 certification from Yoga Alliance is required to teach yoga professionally which is given only after completion of the 200 hour YTTC.

Completion of 100 hours YTTC certification is only an indication that you have completed the first 100 hours of the 200 YTTC. 100 hour yoga teacher training in two parts

Doing the 200 hour yttc in two parts, of two weeks duration each, gives you a chance to complete your yoga education, especially if you are pressed for time to complete the full 200-Hour YTTC in one session.
On completion of the first 100 hours of YTTC with Jhanvi Yoga, you must complete the remaining 100 hours within the same year, with us in order to qualify for the 200 hours YTTC certification which will allow you to get the RYT-200 certificate. After completing the second term of 100 Hour YTTC from Jhanvi Yoga Ashram, we will provide you the 200 Hour YTT certificate issued by Rishikesh Yogpeeth to register as RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance.
Curriculum and Assessment - 100 hour (YTTC)
The level of the 100-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is considered to be beginner to intermediate. This is a subset of 200 hours curriculum and is continued in a progressive manner should you wish to pursue the remainder of 100 hours to make it 200 hours yoga teacher training. The 200 hour Yoga TTC, will provide detailed insights about yogic practices, discipline, diet and cleansing rituals. The course will start will building your understanding of yoga and will take you towards becoming a confident and competent yoga teacher. The curriculum entails the following:
- Study of traditional yoga asana or posture techniques,
- Execution of asana in alignment with understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Asana practice with an understanding of injury and safety and benefits of certain asanas in treating ailments.
- Study of yoga philosophy to deepen the understanding of the yogic lifestyle
- Practice of subtle aspects of yoga like pranayama, mantra recitation, meditation to nurture inner strength

100 hour teacher training as continuing education
Yoga participants who attend the 100 hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh will be assessed as per the requirements of the 200 hour YTTC. You must adhere to the Code of Conduct and maintain 90% attendance during the duration of the course and complete all assignments and examinations as required. Once you have completed the requirements of the Three weeks 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course you will be given a certificate confirming successful completion of all requirements which are required to fulfil the Yoga Alliance standards.
Daily Schedule for 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh
Yoga Alliance - USA, has set standards to follow in terms of number of hours of practice and theory classes. Since 100 hours YTTC is a subset of 200 hours yoga ttc, therefore it follows the same standards. In order to meet the requirements of Yoga Teacher Training, the program follows a tight schedule and demands 6 to 7 hours of training classes in the day are assigned to some aspect of yoga. This includes both – theory and practice. The start of the day is at 5:30 a.m. to be followed by yogic cleansing, mantra chanting, yoga postures and classes/lectures on philosophy, anatomy etc. Learning how to chant a mantra correctly and pranayama are also part of the schedule. Sleeping early is encouraged as that is part of yogic practice.
