The Yoga Alliance has created the curriculum and all Registered Yoga Schools (RYS-200) follow these minimum standards which are essential for yoga teaching.

After successful completion of a 200 – hour YTTC from a RYS 200 Yoga School, you are eligible to register yourself with Yoga Alliance, USA as a Registered Yoga Teacher at 200 -hour level. The level of the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is considered to be beginner to intermediate.

This 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at Jhanvi Ashram is for anyone and everyone who wants to explore traditional yoga practices as taught in India. The course is meant to offer yoga guidance to beginners who wish to take this first step into the world of professional yoga. At the same time the course will also encourage the intermediate practitioner to move ahead in their yoga journey. You must join the 200-hour YTTC with an open mind as the yoga teachings and practices taught in India are likely to differ from what is taught in other countries.

Candidates who wish to join the 200-hour YTTC must be above 18 years and less than 60 years at the time of joining. Medical authorisation is required in case of pregnancy, injury or if anyone is suffering from any medical ailment as the course is physically and mentally intensive. Gaining physical strength is just one aspect of traditional yoga, what yoga essentially aims to accomplish is inner transformation so you can tread on the path to self-discovery. Residential 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Jhanvi Yoga Ashram, Haridwar

The 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at Jhanvi Yoga is a residential course that runs for 28 days (4 weeks). Yoga learners are provided modern residential facilities and amenities. Meals served at Jhanvi Yoga are vegetarian and organic as most food is grown within the yoga centre. The 200-hour YTT course fee also covers accommodation and meals.

Jhanvi Yoga is located in a peaceful area with lush-green natural surroundings that lend themselves to yoga practices. Daily Schedule for 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (TTC)

Adhering to Yoga Alliance - USA, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training requirements, the program follows a tight schedule and demands 6 to 7 hours of training classes in the day are assigned to some aspect of yoga. This includes both – theory and practice. The morning rituals begin at 5:30 a.m. to run routine chores followed by some yoga postures and maybe some classes or lectures in philosophy or anatomy. Chanting and pranayama are also part of the schedule. Sleeping early is encouraged as that is part of yogic practice.
